According to The Tibetan Book of the Dead, immediately following the death of an individual, consciousness will linger outside of the body for “about the time it takes to eat a meal”, before continuing with its journey into the afterlife.

The pieces presented below are part of an ongoing research project and body of work exploring death, food, transmigration, and the cyclicality of the natural world.
